Project Specialist

The ideal candidate for the job would be a person who has passion and expertise for leading software projects of strategic importance and can collaborate with a number of teams and stakeholders to achieve the common goal – to introduce new solutions which deliver value to the business and its clients and partners.
To be more specific, the Project Specialist will:
- Coordinate internal software projects of high complexity from start to finish;
- Determine, define and describe project scope and objectives
- Perform project planning and scheduling, manage tasks and coordinate resources;
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders and vendors to achieve project goals;
- Keep all stakeholders and vendors informed along the way and continuously maintain records of the projects’ statuses in project management tools;
- Proactively overcome challenges to keep the projects on schedule, within budget and in sync with all stakeholders;
- Take an active part in the process of prioritizing projects across the entire organization;
- Contribute to the improvement of our internal project management methodologies and processes.
The ideal Project Specialist would have both:
Professional skills and knowledge:
- A university degree
- 2+ years of experience managing software projects
- Understanding and experience in managing a software project from an idea through development and launch
- Fluent English (both written and spoken)
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Understanding and experience in software development and CRM systems would be considered an advantage
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence and other project management tools would be considered an advantage
and some key personal skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, stakeholders and vendors;
- The ability to get into the detail but also see the bigger picture;
- Be solution-oriented, constantly looking for ways to make things work better, run smoother and take less time;
- Be self-motivated and proactive.
