Business Data Analyst
Main responsibilities:
- Drive the optimization of the reporting landscape through specification and implementation of data requirements and report development / enhancement.
- Support trend analyzes and business forecasting by analyzing and interpreting data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly sales management reports and presentations based on accounting and operational data
- Produce ad hoc reports and business analysis to drive key strategic business decisions.
- Prepare and deliver regular departmental performance reports, executive summaries, and analyses to internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to developing departments’ targets and KPI’s as well as evaluating performance
- Participate in business projects, coordinating data requests
- Ensure data readiness for projects, develop Business Cases and follow up process for business models with historical information and trend estimations
The success on the job requires:
- Highly developed analytical and research skills, and proactive;
- Knowledge of SQL and experience in writing and executing queries
- Knowledge and experience in data analysis / business intelligence
- Ability to translate business needs into data requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment and a flexible mind set.
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools – Power BI (must)
- Strong ETL (extract, transform, load) experience)
- Strong knowledge of operating MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, keen sense on details;
- Excellent English oral and written
- Presentation skills
