It’s summer! The heat, thousands of cars and the air in the city, which is not so clean, make us dream more often about the cool breeze and endless blue beauty of the sea … Unfortunately, there are at least 10 days before our long waited vacation, so we have to think how to “survive” the last summer days in the city, putting all forces and resources that we have got.
A good first step in this initiative is hydration. We know it’s good to drink at least two liters of water per day, but if you want to diversify this rule and break the routine into the day, we offer you to try the preparation of different tasty and refreshing summer cocktails. The recipes are completely healthy, alcohol-free, white sugar- free and there aren’t any artificial colors, so you can drink them even at your workplace. Because of the ingredients, these cocktails are not only refreshing and very tasty, they also have beneficial effect, which gives you energy for the whole day. Enjoy them!

Soft Raspberry Mojito
Necessary products:
a handful of fresh raspberries
5-6 mint leaves
1 tablespoon grenadine
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 cup soda
2 tablespoons brown sugar

Method of preparation:
In a tall glass, add brown sugar and lime. Start mash using a press for cocktail if you do not have one, use the handle of a kitchen knife or a wooden rolling pin. Add the raspberries and mint leaves and continue to mix products for 1 minute, until combined well. Another method of preparation is putting all of the ingredients in a kitchen robot, and mix them for 2 minutes.

Necessary products:
quarter watermelon
honey
few mint leaves
half a lemon
1 liter of soda water

Method of preparation:
Cool well the watermelon in the refrigerator, then remove the seeds and cut the watermelon into small pieces. Put it in a blender with honey, mint leaves and lemon juice, till you have a homogeneous mixture. Put the ready mixture at high cups and top up with cold soda water, then mix well. If you do not want the beverage to be carbonated, you can use mineral water. Don’t forget to put 4-5 ice cubes.

Watermelon is rich in vitamin C, potassium and fiber. It contains vitamins A, B1, B2, as well as manganese, iron and magnesium. Watermelon is useful in anemia, because it stimulates the formation of blood. It is also useful for gout, arthritis, rheumatism, gastritis and gastric ulcer.

Ginger lemonade
Necessary products
150 grams shredded ginger
1 lemon
4 tablespoons brown sugar or molasses
1 liter soda


Method of preparation:
Put the ginger and chopped and peeled lemon in a blender. Add 300 ml. mineral water and mix to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Add sugar or molasses and beat again. Finally, add the carbonated water and add a few ice cubes and mint leaves (optional).

melon – 600 g
orange juice – 300 ml freshly squeezed
salt – 1 pinch
sugar – 1 tsp brown or agave, molasses
ginger – 1 piece of fresh about 30g

Method of preparation:

Clean the seeds and rind of 1 small melon. Then chopped it into s small pieces and put it in a blender.Top up orange juice, a pinch of salt and brown sugar, and one cut and peeled piece of ginger (about the size of your thumb)
Blend the mixture to absolute smoothness. Pour into a jug,and leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Serve with a few ice cubes.

lime juice 2
