MultiTasty Easter

Holidays are the time we spend with our loved ones. We usually associate them with interesting experiences, positive emotions and lots of food. To make this holiday even more special, we are giving you some ideas for a healthy Easter meal.

Crispy lamb chops

Products needed:
For the lamb chops:

  • 8 lamb chops
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil

For the crust:

  • 100 grams of lightly baked almonds or walnuts
  • 80 -100 g grated parmesan
  • mint leaves
  • thyme
  • rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons of mustard
  • 1 tablespoons of olive oil

Preparation method:

Heat the olive oil in a pan and seal it with salt and black pepper until golden brown. Once done, move them to a preheated 200 ° oven for 8-9 minutes. While the meat is baking, blend all the spices until smooth, add the nuts, parmesan and olive oil and stir. Remove the chops from the oven and brush them with the mustard. Roll the meat in the finished mixture until it has been coated well, then put them in the oven for 3-4 minutes. Serve the chops with a choice of fresh salad, bulgur, stewed vegetables, traditional mashed potatoes or rice.

Healthy Easter sweet bread

And what is Easter without some sweet bread, also called kozunak? Experiment in the kitchen with a healthy recipe that differs only in ingredients but is just as delicious as the traditional one.

Products:

  • 100 g coconut shavings
  • 3 tbsp coconut flour
  • 50 g almond flour
  • 270 g mozzarella
  • 50 g cream cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 baking powder bag
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp coconut butter
  • sweetener of your choice
  • 50 g nuts

For the chocolate

  • 30 g almond flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp coconut butter
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • sweetener

Preparation method:

Melt the mozzarella and cream cheese, then add the eggs (one by one), the vanilla and the melted coconut oil. The dry ingredients are mixed in another container and then added to the egg mixture. Cover the dough with stretch foil and leave it in the fridge for half an hour. To prepare the chocolate mixture, melt the butter, the coconut oil and add some almond flour, cocoa, vanilla and sweetener. Remove the coconut dough from the freezer, split it in two and roll the pieces out until the dough becomes 1 cm thick. Coat with the chocolate mixture, add the crushed nuts, then roll the dough. The pieces can be rolled as a braid or otherwise, by your choice. Bake in a preheated oven up to 170 ° for about an hour and cover with foil after 10 minutes so it does not burn. Use a toothpick to prick the top of the kozunak and see if it’s ready. The kozunak is ready when nothing sticks to the toothpick. Wait for it to cool and cut it to pieces.
